Wealthy Woman! Don’t Be Steered Off Course!

Have you ever watched a boat on the ocean waters? Gliding over the seas towards its destination.

The small boats may battle the choppy waves en route to their ports of call while the large ships sail with grandeur and can get through significantly bad sea conditions.

My friends, our lives are like ships! What do I mean?

Do you know where you’re going? Where your life is heading? Or are you like a small boat on a lake going around in circles being pulled and tugged by every breeze that passes?

Are you a small boat or a large ship?

What’s the difference?

Look at your life.

Like a ship, do you have your rudder set for your destination?

If you’re serious about where you want to go and what you want to be in your life, set your rudder!

Focus on what you want. Don’t let the strong winds of despair, lack of confidence, hopelessness, judgmental friends and family steer you from your course.

Remove stress to FREE your financial woes!

Give yourself a moment right now to breathe. This is something that’s been missing in your life, no doubt. You’re worried about where your life is headed and if you can turn the proverbial car around to make for better days.

And stress just isn’t going to help you with your change.

We’ve been handed the assumption that being uptight is the only way to make sure that we’re going to be successful. It’s not.

It’s time for us to change that kind of thinking and find ways to relax so that success isn’t scared away by us.

Worrying about our financial situation doesn’t make it any better. If you’re worrying about it in the middle of the night, think about what you’re doing. Is there truly anything that you can do about your problem at two in the morning? Banks aren’t open and other lenders don’t start their days until nine or so.

You aren’t making anything better by worrying about it.

In this moment, you are perfectly safe and well-fed, so you really don’t have anything to stress about, do you?

But that’s all well and good, but what can you do about the stress that’s clogging up your ability to think positively?

Here are some tips: Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s the kicker with getting your finances in order: you don’t want to stop buying the things that you’re used to buying. And I understand that, I really do.

But are you holding up your happiness with being stubborn? All of us have at some point.

We don’t want to give up that cup of coffee in the morning or that magazine at the end of a hard week. We deserve these little extras because we’re stressed, but they actually add up to the stress in the end.

Here’s the best way to get your financial health back up to a place where it can help you, rather than hurt you. Read the rest of this entry »

How?

You need a system

When it comes to handling your finances, a lot of us don’t know where to start.  Fewer still were taught anything about money as we were growing up.

But we can learn now.

Let’s start with finding out where we’re at and creating a system that supports handling our current financial situation.

Many of us will hesitate at this step because we’re afraid that we’re going to find out that we’re a lot worse off then we expected we were.  In this fear, we create a cluttered system that masks our true financial standing and creates conditions in which we can’t seem to make it better.

It’s cleaning and planning time.

One of the best ways to start out your financial goals is by Read the rest of this entry »

Women entrepreneurs secretly harbor a lot of pain, shame and blame about money. To the outside world they claim they want to make more, but secretly, in the privacy of their thoughts they feel the darkness of their money shadow side.

These feelings are like tentacles, grabbing at their heart and undermining their self-esteem. Ashamed and thinking they are “the only one” to feel this way, too many women remain silent when in reality, breaking free of their money gremlins is surprisingly easy to do.

The way I found greater freedom from money gremlins was to start thinking like a million dollar entrepreneur. At first, it felt…strange. My bank account balance clearly didn’t match this new thinking. Nor did my monthly income.

But, in a surprisingly short amount of time, all that changed. One year later my income, bank account, prestige, credibility and yes, my self-esteem had MORE than doubled.

Here’s what I did to shine a light on the shadow side of money. Try these tips for yourself and you’ll quickly find yourself healing some old money wounds and feeling more at peace with money…and making more of it! Read the rest of this entry »
